Hone Your Fright Skills at Chicago Frights!
We are one week away from the return of Chicago Frights! Halloween is coming early, and we can’t wait to see everyone for a weekend of fun and fear, with haunter education, actor training, workshops, a zombie march, hearse show, costume party, and plenty of surprises! See Full Show Schedule.
If you love making costumes or showing others your favorite character, then Chicago Frights wants to see! Come dressed in-character, and you may even end up being showcased on our Facebook page and www.ChicagoFrights.com! Plus, be sure you make an appearance at our annual Costume Party Saturday night for food, fun, and to dance the night away! More information on the 2016 Costume Party.
We are doing something a little different for this year’s Chicago Frights Haunt Tours. Several haunts in the area are planning to be open during the weekend, so rather than limit the tours, we are promoting any haunt that wants to open. Tickets can be purchased via each haunt, and transportation is not provided. This is a great opportunity to see some great haunts in the off season!
Evil Intentions Haunted House: Descensus Averno
Catch a special sneak peek of what’s in store for visitors this Halloween, as Evil Intentions opens its doors for one night only. Voted one of the area’s top haunts in 2013, 2014 and 2015 by HauntedHouseChicago.com, HauntedIllinois.com, and the Horror Tourers. Evil Intentions Haunted House blends intense scares and interactive storytelling with the real paranormal history of the building. The site of the former Elgin Casket Company, the building has a true history of murder, disappearances, and occult activities; one never knows going through the attraction when they’ll encounter an actor or one of the real spirits still residing in the dusty halls and dark, foreboding rooms. If you’re looking for frights that will leave you terrified for days, Evil Intentions Haunted House is where you need to come. Open Friday, July 29 only.
